Step 1: Attend an Info Session
Info Session Booking Information
We require prospective students and their parents/carers (for students under 18 years) to book an information session to learn how IDEA supports young people to thrive in their education. Attendees will get a chance to meet members of our team and develop an understanding of what attending IDEA would mean for them.

Step 2: Application Meeting
Application Meeting Information

Year 9 or higher?
Info session attendees interested in our Academy will be invited to book an application meeting and complete an application form.
Your application meeting is our opportunity to discuss whether IDEA is the right fit for you/your young person and whether you are a good fit for IDEA. It is a chance for us to begin co-design of your personalised pathway. They run for approximately 45 minutes.

Step 3: Enrol
Enrol with IDEA Academy
After the application meeting and if it is determined IDEA is a good fit for you, you will receive a Letter of Offer with instructions on how to complete your enrolment including details of scholarships available if required.

Join our Official Waitlist
Year 8 or lower?
Join our official waitlist and be guaranteed a place in your year of entry pending a successful interview.
A fee of $100 is required to secure a place on our waitlist, payments are made via the waitlist application link.
You will receive an invitation to select an interview time from March of the year preceding your child’s year of entry.
