02 / CHOOSE YOUR PLATFORM
Shopify or WooCommerce?

A USEFUL STARTING POINT
What matters most to your team?
Choose a priority to explore the platform trade-off.
Both platforms can support an online store. Your team, integrations and ongoing costs should guide the decision.
HOSTED COMMERCE
Shopify
A hosted platform with store management in one admin. Hosting is included in the platform subscription.
- Consider it when you want a managed hosting setup and a focused store workflow.
- Budget separately for the subscription, any paid theme or apps, and applicable payment charges.
- Check payment-provider availability and app compatibility for your business before choosing.
WORDPRESS COMMERCE
WooCommerce
Commerce built on WordPress, with your choice of hosting and a flexible plugin ecosystem.
- Consider it when WordPress content and store customisation are important to the project.
- Budget for hosting, any paid extensions, updates, backups and ongoing maintenance.
- Check the hosting, plugins and integration responsibilities as part of the build scope.
We recommend a platform after reviewing your catalogue, team, integrations and ongoing costs. Platform references: Shopify · WooCommerce.

Compare the complete scope
Before approving a package, confirm the page and template list, product variants and uploads, revision rounds, named integrations, shopping events, handover and support period. These details belong in the written proposal—not in assumptions about a package name.
Platform subscriptions, apps, payment fees and software are separate. You supply product data and imagery unless quoted. Paid acquisition and ongoing growth are separate engagements.
The proposal confirms revisions, files, responsibilities and any additional work before delivery.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Before we begin.
How much does ecommerce website development cost?
Our current store builds start at PKR 60,000, with Growth Store at PKR 110,000 and Custom Commerce from PKR 200,000. The final quote depends on catalogue work, design, features and integrations. Platform subscriptions and third-party costs are separate.
What do the product limits mean?
Starter includes initial setup for up to 10 products and Growth up to 30, using the product data and images you supply. These are upload-scope limits, not a promise that the platform can only hold that many products. Confirm variants, bulk imports and larger catalogues in the proposal.
How long will the build take?
The schedule is agreed after the scope and content requirements are reviewed. Product-data readiness, feedback, migration complexity and payment-provider approvals can affect launch. We confirm the milestones before work begins.
Can you redesign or migrate an existing store?
Yes. We review the current platform, products, URLs and data before recommending a route. Which products, customers and orders can move, and any redirects or downtime arrangements, are confirmed before migration.
Are payments, COD and courier connections included?
The chosen package covers its agreed configuration. Provider approval and charges are separate. A specific gateway, courier app or custom connection must be checked for compatibility and listed in the proposal.
Who supplies copy, product details and images?
You supply accurate product names, prices, descriptions, variants, stock details and imagery unless content preparation is quoted separately. We confirm the format and responsibilities at the start.
What costs continue after launch?
Depending on the platform, ongoing costs can include subscriptions or hosting, domain renewal, paid themes or extensions, payment fees, email tools and maintenance. We identify the required services before you approve the build.
Will our team be able to manage the store?
We provide access and editing guidance for the delivered setup. Agree who owns the store and third-party accounts, the handover materials and the support period in the proposal.
Does the build include SEO and marketing?
The development scope can include agreed search foundations and tracking configuration. Recurring SEO, advertising, email campaigns and ongoing conversion optimisation are separate unless explicitly quoted.
